Our Story

Skycraft Aircraft Company, LLC (dba "Skycraft") was first formed in August of 2011 with the purpose of conducting aircraft design, research, and manufacturing.

Over the years, we have researched, designed and made many improvements to existing light sport and general aviation aircraft.

In 2019, our team designed a composite replacement wing system for the RANS S-12 Light-Sport Aircraft.  This system is now in production for the existing fleet of Rans S-12s. We are currently working on a new composite tail section that will eliminate the need for all fabric sails.
In March of 2022, Skycraft became the new manufacturer of the Allegro Light-Sport Aircraft.

The Allegro was the #3 Light-Sport Aircraft to receive Special Light-Sport Aircraft (SLSA) approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

The Allegro is a great little Light-Sport Aircraft and we are extremally pleased to be the new manufacturer for this proven design.

In addition to our manufacturing activities, we are also working on numerous research projects related to electrical propulsion conversions for existing aircraft.  More on that issue to come!!!
